Vainglory Update 4.6 is coming to you with a little something for everyone in changes to heroes, items and talents. We’ve included notes with some of the changes to help you understand the logic behind the changes. Check out the balance changes coming for Update 4.6 below!
5V5 META
The Vain Crystal defenses were meant to discourage backdooring the enemy base, but were so powerful that they sometimes dissuaded meaningful pushes unless the team had blackclaw or all team members present. We’re lowering the damage a bit so that it becomes a bit easier to close out games.

The last round of changes heavily nerfed Anka’s killing potential to the point where she couldn’t really assassinate her targets. We’re restoring some of the damage to her Dance of Blades so she can still strike fear into the hearts of carries.

Joule proved to be a bit too strong after the recent batch of changes so we’re reverting the damage buff from before. We still want her to maintain her identity as an incredibly durable fighter but we’re toning her damage back down.

Leo is still proving to be too strong so we went ahead and lowered the damage on Crushing Strike even further.

Miho’s damage against Unguarded targets made her monstrously powerful in the late game. These changes should curb that slightly while also giving her more incentive to use her Shingetsu outside of just applying stacks of Keen Eye.

Petal has been out of the meta for a while, so we’re giving her some time in the sun. This change is geared towards making her a more utility oriented carry and making it easier to keep her munions alive at all times.

Rona is a berserker that has a hard time… well, berserking. We’re making it so that Red Mist now is unstoppable and making it so that the correct play is to run away when you see her angry.

Tiger’s Bridge into Divine Fist combo was nearly guaranteed, making his laning phase very powerful. This should make his combo more unreliable at lower levels as well as make players choose which overdrive they want to take first.

Boots have become an item that too frequently saves people from bad positioning, both during team fights and in the laning phase. We’re hitting the sprint active on the following boots.

It was time to touch the talents, so we’ve made some tweaks with our brawl players in mind. These changes are mostly targeted towards buffing talents that were rarely used as well as adjusting some of the more oppressive ones.
